We have determined that we can safely permit a maximum of 46 people in church per service, including all those serving, leaders, speakers etc. As demand has been encouraging, we will continue with the service booking arrangements for Sunday 9 August, before making a judgement call whether it is still required or not. Therefore, if you would like to book a place in our 9.00 am Traditional service or 11.00 am Contemporary service with Holy Communion on the 2nd Sunday in August, the booking line opens at 9.00 am on Monday 3 August, please call Lynn Brooks on 07928 536543 with the first hour given as preference to those who have been self-isolating, and/or have not been able to watch our online services.

Our services will initially look and sound quite different to those we have been accustomed to at Hughenden. Sadly no singing is currently permitted in church, but we do hope to have some musicians on occasions for some services. For communion services, we will be only offering bread to consume, in order to comply with the current guidelines. The service leader will give you helpful instructions at the start of each service, to hopefully answer any questions you might have, and allay any fears.

Toilet facilities will be available as normal, and you will be encouraged to use the hand sanitiser provided upon entry and exit to church.

The House of Bishops strongly urges all to wear a face covering of some description in Church - unless of course you have an exemption for a medical reason. This is an important and practical way in which we can demonstrate our care to other member's of our church family. Thank you for your understanding. From the 8 August face coverings will be required by law.
