St Michael's aims for a level of support to mission, locally, nationally, and overseas, which reflects God's generosity to us and which accords with biblical principles.
Our aim is to model and to inspire regular and committed giving which is joyful, willing, and sacrificial. The church has therefore set a target for support to mission which is 10% of the planned giving to the church by its members and visitors.
Also from this allotment of mission funds, the church allocates an annual sum to the Mission Support Group to support God's work of mission further afield, as detailed in the following pages:
The church will also organise special collections, particularly at Christmas time, with the aim of increasing its support to special causes
